Smaller rectangle sushi plate
Some nice easy to use rectangle plates, which will make your food into art! I've added a discount on number 2. and 3.
2. discount: Olaf was excited with this plate and smeared the underglaze on pretty thick, so it has some texture. I believe it to still be foodsafe, but I wouldnt suggest scraping with a knife over it and such.
3. discount: beautifull matte glazed plate, but I layed her on a kiln shelf that appreantly had a smooch from a previous fire. Does nothing with functionality, there are just a bit of colorings on the bottom of the plate.
The plates are handmade, from stoneware clay. They are painted by Olaf with various underglazes. The top is finished with a glossy (and food-safe) glaze (except for number 3. that one is matte glazed also food-safe) for a comfortable everyday use.
I think that the power of these brushstrokes are that they carry a sense of freedom, free of perfectionism. I am deeply inspired and also intrigued by Olaf, that he can create these lines that I have practised so long to create - without succes. Abstract art is a slippery and often mis-understood field of art. But I feel.. that with this collection I'm hitting the spot. And that feels awesome.
Only one available and very one of a kind. This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too. Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
