Coffee cup, heron in the reeds

One of a kind. A favorite. The classic view, a heron between the reeds, looking out over the water. Herons stand for patience, solitude and being exactly where you want to be. Things will come to you, it's simply up to you to pay attention and poke your pokey nose in the right direction when the times comes.
 
This cup is handpinched by Christina (an ancient handshaping technique, that shapes by pinching in clay). 
Handpainted with blue underglaze, topped with a transparant glossy glaze for a food-safe finish. Baked on 1250 degrees Celcius.

This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too.
Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
