Coffee cup, sparrows in spring

One of a kind. Two sparrows on branches which are starting to bloom. I'm not sure if sparrows are here in winter, I think they are but I notice them less. When spring arrives, they become alive. I love their activity and them flying around me when I sit in my garden. 
 
This cup is handpinched by Christina (an ancient handshaping technique, that shapes by pinching in clay). 
Handpainted with blue underglaze, topped with a transparant glossy glaze for a food-safe finish. Baked on 1250 degrees Celcius.

This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too.
Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
 
Cup: approx. 7 by 7 cm weight approx. 300g
