Great tits in tree, handpainted plate

A handpainted scene, brought to life from a moment drawing that I made when I exited the forest. Two great tits were busy scavenging around, probably looking for materials to bring to their nest. It was one of the first really sunny days after a long while of very gray skies. I think for me, this was also one of the first signs that spring had started to come in the air. 
 
This plate is made by hand, with stoneware clay, handpainted with a kobalt blue underglaze and topped with a clean glossy (and food safe) glaze for a comfortable everyday use. Only one available and very one of a kind. This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too. Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
