Handpainted leaf and snail plate

A friendly and unique plate friend that will carry your lunch for you! Handpainted with leaves and a snail, inspired by a sister plate that I have at home and made for myself as a gift. There is something in eating from a plate that has been shaped and painted to crown and honor your food. And this plate is exactly that.

Handbuild with stoneware clay, handpainted with a kobalt blue underglaze and topped with a glossy transparent glaze for a foodsafe finish. 

This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too.
Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
