Henkie - heron heart

Henkies are a signature sculpture of Lydia, which vibrates this serene aura when put on the wall. When I (Christina) was painting this Henkie I felt a bit like this Henkie. One with the fields, tiny daisies on my legs. A little farmhouse in the distance, my heart breathing with open air and a couple birds <3

This is a handmade sculpture from stoneware clay, created by Lydia. She was handpainted with cobalt blue underglaze by Christina. This Henkie was fired with a top temperature of 1250 degrees celcius and has a little hole in the back so he can be mounted on the wall.

This Henkie is unique. Small imperfections are part of the handmade aesthetic.

Size: tip of fingers to middle of wrist (medium person).
