Made by Olaf - the plate

THE PLATE. A unique specimin, handmade from natural stoneware clay and topped with brushstrokes created by Olaf and then topped with a transparent glossy glaze - for a long life. 
I think that the power of these brushstrokes are that you can never exactly replicate them. They leave space for your own interpretation. What was Olaf trying to say when creating them?
