Play Town pokebowl

There's a world here in this pokebowl. This world loves seeing fruits, or salads in their view :)

Note: I forgot a couple spots of glaze under the foot, so she stuck a bit in small places to the oven shelf. This doesn't change her functionality, but that also means that she's not perfect aymore.

This a one of a kind bowl. Painting all the shapes bit by bit was a mindfull and time consuming practise and I believe that this bowl now carries that. This attention, slow paced. It's a little world, a suggestion of our world, but in a simple manner. I've drawn this design while my son was playing, in his own world. There's something tremendously soothing about just filling in shapes on a paper, and ordering and re-ordering untill you achieve somewhat of a peacefull feeling.

On the back I have carved out a foot.
I've handpainted her with colored underglazes and topped her with a transparant glossy glaze for a food-safe finish. Baked on 1220 degrees Celcius.

This item likes being washed by hand, but dishwasher is ok too.
Small imperfections are part of the crooked garden aesthetic.
