Created during a walk in the park together with Aleksander and Olaf. My husband had spotted an heron earlier, so I wanted to see if the heron was still there. The heron was gone, but what suprised me was how the park was filled with other birds. So, not feeling the pressure to draw the heron 'exactly right', I relaxed and sketched what I saw while gazing up to the sky. Aleksander gazed with me, Olaf sniffled around. It was good.
This print is in a5 format and is a limited edition.
I go to this little printshop in the city of Groningen where I have direct contact with the printmaker. I've let her be printed on 300 gram biotop paper. As a finishing touch I've removed the hard edges of the print, to really make a smooth finish.
The print is signed and numbered (edition of 25).
