Rustic heron chawan

First of all: yes it's a hecking chawan! The first on Crooked Garden! 
I've been experimenting with chawans this year and this shape - you wouldn't think it, drinks quite nice. And zen! I truly hope that you share my opinion and if you feel like the drink isn't nice I am very sorry and by all means you can send the cup back. 
It's quite the exciting thing to launch a new shape I gotta say!

Topped with a chonky lined flying heron moment drawing. A true character.

Handpinched from black stoneware clay and glazed with a glossy white glaze for a food friendly finish. Note: has a couple tiny pinholes, but they are mostly on the outside. So I dub this cup food friendly.
She's dishwasher proof, but ceramics do like to be handwashed because thats a bit less agressive.
